Artificial intelligence has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies of the 21st century, reshaping how societies create, preserve, disseminate, and experience culture. While AI offers unprecedented opportunities for cultural preservation, it simultaneously poses significant risks to cultural rights, including algorithmic bias, cultural appropriation, and digital dispossession.

Sustainable tourism represents a critical strategy for balancing economic development with the protection of the world's most precious natural and cultural heritage sites. With the phenomenon of "overtourism" reaching crisis levels at iconic destinations, this committee will address the urgent need to manage visitor flows to prevent environmental degradation and cultural erosion.

Youth comprises more than 1.8 billion people globally and represents a critical resource for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The localization of SDGs requires the active participation of young people as innovators, activists, and leaders capable of implementing sustainable practices at the local level.

Education represents a fundamental pillar for fostering mutual understanding, stability, and sustainable development within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Enhanced educational cooperation facilitates knowledge transfer, capacity building, and the development of a shared regional identity grounded in mutual respect.
